Rutherford Hill Limited Release Red Wine Stagecoach Vineyard

Beautiful nose of sweet black currants, blackberries, blueberries, new oak, spring flowers and hot gravel. Plush and opulent on the mouth, this is round and full-bodied with a lovely layered feel to the tannin. Moderate tannin and acidity make this a pleasure to drink now, but this should age well for a almost a decade. Drink now-2031 94

Poured straight out of the bottle with no decant. Beautiful light cherry color in the glass. Nose seems a bit closed and not sure it will open up very much with time. Dry upon entry with a pucker like feel. Appears to be primarily Merlot based. Soft tannins and enjoyable to drink but not very impressive.
