Daisy Chain Ava's Red

It was ok. I was hoping for more.

Mild nose of tart cherries. Tastes like nothing if not a gamay, despite being a blend of zin, cab, merlot, and syrah; light bodied, a little tart, relatively fruit-forward (although the wine isn't terribly intense). Balance is decent, finish a tad short. This is meant as quaffing wine; I wouldn't pair it with anything more weighty than deli sandwiches.
