Really killer wine. Good now and for several years to come. I wish I had more.

Trop acide pour mois, pas vraiment aimé même après une bonne aération!

Can't understand the 90+ points here, usually I like mature wines but to me this is just a good (over?) mature chianti with some, but not particularly exciting, tertiary aromas.

Still youthful with a spark. Really wish I had more of this cheap, almost mature Chianti. It's packed with cherries, great mature berries, mature tannin M+, great acids M+, a medium body that carries all the way to the finish. No bitter tinge tonight. Still early maturity. Wife: 90p. At home w/two kinds of fried chicken (shoyu and chilli), various japanese style salads and onigiri with umeboshi. Fit like a glove! Last btl, too early... One of the more satisfying …

Nose of black cherry, blue plum, earth, coffe, dark choclate. Mouth in harmony with nose. Integrated tanins and acidity. Perfect to a moose steak with a senpf cream sauce.

Red colour with a brick-red hue. The nose shows alot of maturity with leather and cherry. The palate is austere and the fruit is almost completely dried up. Yet a good sample with a nice long finish of cherry stones.

This CC packs a fabulous punch of cherries, great mature berries, mature tannin, great acids, a full body towards the finish and a slight bitter tinge that is simply adorable and makes it adorable+ with Italian food. Now early maturity and I will try to get more. Red colour with a brick-red tone. The nose shows earth, cherry and hints of mint chocolate. The palate is showing soft tannines and a long aftertaste with cherry.

Red colour with a brick-red hue. On the nose there's blood and sois bois. The palate shows tones of leather, ceder and dried fruit and the tannines are soft and round. The finish shows a nice and refined taste of black currant.

With secondary notes and also with some complexity. At 19 euro or so, this is quite a bargain.

Red colour. On the nose there's earth and moulder leaf. The palate is very mature butstill shows asperity and a mixture of earthy tones, cherry stones and dried fruit with a long aftertaste.

good but very ready....probably better a couple of years back although the fruit core may have left the wine before the tannins were ready..but to that price a good wine...

Caryn made Beef Wellington at home, this was an excellent pairing and had aged well, very balanced and mellow. Don't decant for too long.
