Dipping into second bottle via coravin. Fruit has backed off. Bit of acid. Then dinner came. Lovely with food. Delicious.

Nicely aged Pinot. Well integrated. Touch of alcohol heat. Not off putting. The last glass was the best. Auction purchase of well stored wines. Cork good.

Glass from coravin. Played a bit of Russian roulette picking up a few bottles at auction to see how Oregon handled twenty years. Perfect cork. Lovely, tart, still fresh, aged Pinot

Vindredi (Bellevue, WA) : Tasted blind. A bit more fruit on the nose compared to the others in the flight, which is interesting considering its age. Rich and weighty body with a smooth finish. It falls off a bit in the mid-palate.

Patience is a virtue! After a LONG wait, this wine is finally ready to drink, and showing very well. Still has reasononbly firm acids, but now has lovely mouthfeel, aromas of mushrooms, forest floor, and mint. Texturally, quite lovely. Finishes long. No need to hurry, but readly to drink. Lovely wine, less overtly Shea now that it has some age.

benefits from extended decanting, but drinking well now. Great Shea aromatics.

Wow. Where did this come from? This wine has really come around. Decanted for two hours, it showed lovely complex aromatics, and palate texture, where priviously there had been not much of either. Could be at its peak. Delicious.

Considerable fading at the rim. Blackberry and rasoberry on the palate, with cola and pine forrest floor. Served with roast duck with rosemary and morel risotto cooked with duck fat and duck broth. On day two the fruit had shifted more toward raspberry, and the pine sensation was replaced with somethng more akin to sage. On day one i had spent the better part of an hour plucking dried rosemary off its boughs.

Ruby color with a bit of browning at the edge. Still primary ten years later, red fruits and cedar on the nose, red fruits on the palate, lots of acidity. Still improving for the next few years. Great QPR.

earthy nose. Very burgundian in taste, modest fruit notes, stronger earth ones. some acidity but not overwhelming. A good bottle of wine

purplish color. Lovely nose of dark berry fruits, damp forest floor and spice, really bequiling and complex. Decanted this for two plus hours prior to tasting. Palate echos the black raspberry, earthy notes of the nose. Medium weight, with noticeable acidity, but still in balance. Finish is about 20 seconds. Probably still has a year or two of development before starting to decline, maybe longer. I thoroughly enjoyable wine, one that has take a long time to come around.

Had in Frisco with some duck breast & fennel. proper decanting crucial: this started to open up nicely so used a carafe, Within 1/2 hr it was stunning sweet red sour cherry fruit and a hint of forest floor. More towards a modern Burgundian spectrum. This is very nice and much better than expected where it really makes an impressive showing is in the mineral infused finish which is rich and surprisingly broad. it only stayed in the sweet zone …

Better than the last time - perhaps this just needs more time. Chunky style with the black cherry, mineral, and herbal notes all battling. They are in balance, but it is a chewy wine. Perhaps a few more years will integrate the components better.

Dark, brooding, not very aromatic or flavorful. Had with rack of lamb. Overall disappointing. Not at all reminiscent of prior Panther Creek experiences.

Powerful wine with dark fruit, perhaps black cherry, and ton of minerality. Very tannic as well, this is not a fruit driven elegant Pinot. Muscular, brooding, but I am not sure the fruit will outlast the tannin.
