Domaine Chapelle & Fils Santenay 1er Cru Beaurepaire

A really nice glass of Burgundy from lovely Côte de Beaune. Beautiful color with and explosive nose. Made from 40+ year old vines from the southeast-exposed vineyard Beaurepaire in Santenay. Obvious and delicious red fruit combined with something deeper and complex - a little wood, vanilla, tobacco and spices. The taste is so pleasant.
