93-94. Outstanding showing. Excellent qpr. Dense and concentrated with good dark fruits and excellent structure. Still very useful and has several years of life ahead of it. Can easily age for at least another 10 years. Tasted side by side with the mjt Cabernet Sauvignon which was more fruit forward but both were equally excellent. Great structure, great balance

Unfortunately this bottle was disappointing, could very well be bottle variation as this is 17 years old. Almost no acidity or fruit left, just background tertiary aromas with almost no body. Looking forward to try this bottle and see if this was a fluke (hopefully), but this was way past peak!

Dark ruby color with ninth ruby edges. Strong sweet, ripe, fruity damp earth bouquet. Full bodied. Concentrated. Sweet concentrated fruit with lots of earthiness.Good balance Just drinks so nicely. Amuch better showing and much more typical of what I would expect compared to last tasting. Drink now and over the next few years. Probably longer. Delicious dirty earthy fruity wine.

Dirty earthy. For those who like that style, they'll love this. Concentrated. Dirty earthy muddy dark fruit bouquet and flavors. Sweetness to the fruit. Long finish. Drinking well.

Darken color. Tight dark fruit with hints of spice bouquet. Medium to full body. Good concentration with dark fruit flavors along with cherry and earth. This has a lot of acids and tannins which are masking some of the fruit flavors.this is almost like it has shut down since I last tasted it and it is in a dumb phase. This certainly tastes like it has what it takes to age another 5 to 10 years. I will probably give …

Does dark and concentrated with explosive ripe fruit flavors. Showing some complexity with some smoke and Earth coming in to complement the Cassis, grape jam, ripe BlackBerry flavors. Drinks beautifully now but should age at least another five if not ten or more years. Great bang for your buck

Starting to enter its plateau full maturity. Nice concentration and complexity with some smokiness and lots of earthiness. there's a slight subtle sour note which makes you wonder if the wine is a little bit off. Still excellent. I would retry relatively soon. School should have the staying power for at least another five years

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium.

Definitely great for a Kosher wine but a bit strange in terms of typicity for a 2005 Napa Bordeaux blend. Aromatic and full of blue fruit and spicy oak, it made me think Syrah a bit more than Bordeaux. The nose reminded me of Quilceda Creek which I’m not a big fan of, because it seems overripe but it may have fans. Unlike Quilceda, it wasn’t overly alcoholic or sweet but rather reasonably balanced. A great value for a Kosher …

The nose on this Bordeaux blend is really nice, after 12 years this wine is still hopping and really fun. The nose is dirty, with crazy amounts of vanilla and tobacco to start, with lovely elegance, mineral, menthol, pencil shavings, and dry roasted herb. The wine is still rich and unctuous, with still rich and impressive fruit structure, with not searing tannin anymore, but rather far more integrated and elegant tannin that coats and powders the mouth, with layers upon …

What a delightful bottle! Really enjoyed with a pasta meal. Very drinkable. Complex. Berries. Smooth. Nice lingering finish. Timing was perfect for opening. Did not need to aerate. A wonderful experience.

Drank at the first RCC event, and along with the old vine Cave was the star of the night - showing much better than the last time I had this wine, it was excellent, chocolate and fruit on the nose and pallate

a little too california for me, even though less than most, there is an overly obvious fruit flavor that comes through, decent spice, but not like the top israeli wines
