Le Clos du Breil Bergerac Lei Peires

Two hour slow ox. Very deep magenta color. Plum, vanilla pudding, licorice, and blackberry jelly. Smooth, dry palate, with good acidity. Firm, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish. Very unique Bergerac CS. You might mistake this for a good Sonoma CS. Very fruit forward, with zero earthiness. Might have been the atmosphere here in Lorient (France) that gave a bonus point to my score. Very good QPR here.
