Domaine des Bernardins Côtes du Rhône Rouge

Bright floral and herbal smell, unmistakable southern Rhone character. Lots of blackberry fruit. Medium bodied, decent acid and some tannin and overall well balanced. Long finish. This wine is much better than the €8 it cost.

Pronounced floral and herbal smell, with lavender, thyme, roses. Sweet rich berry fruit in the mouth without huge body or tannin. Elegant herbal finish. This is very good, and not just for the money.

Strong floral smell, mostly lavender or thyme. Ripe red fruit taste, good acid and pleasant dusty tannin. Excellent for the money.
