Pierre Boisson Meursault Les Grands Charrons

A little past its due date. Drinkable but not the normal PVG fun.

Lighter medium lemon color. A touch reductive the first few seconds, but with just a little oxygen, it explodes with mineral goodness. Notes of lemon zest, lemon curd, also some riper peach, apple, steel, wet stone minerality, also some seashells, there is also some sweet spices and just a touch of butter adding complexity. It‘s medium-full bodied, with very good persistence, it has pretty high acidity adding tons of tension. Pretty long finish with building complexity and just a hint …

Classic Meursault. Fine acidity. Rich, with aromas of white peach and exotic fruit. Excellent!
