Decanted for over an hour. Dark purple inky color and full body with strong bouquet of fruit and earth. Short finish with minerality (slightly bitter).

opened and poured with a vinturi. Rich inky color and full body with elegant nose of dark fruit and some earth. Tannins have smoothed since my last bottle (about a year and a half ago) and while it is in a great drinking window, I suspect this will last at least a few more years at it's peak. Finised the rest of the bottle the next day and it was even better.

Dark ruby/purple. No sign of its age. Medium/full body with dark berry fruits and a long balanced finish.

Just a terrific blackberry and strawberry essence to this wine. Wonderful Nebbiolo nose of tar and roses. Another year has changed it some but it is still fairly young in color with no sediment. Strong backbone of acidity but the tannins has melted considerably. Maybe just a hint of ever-extraction now.

This is a serious wine. Much bigger than I was anticipating for a Langhe Rosso. Even now it is dominated by it's tannins and acidity. But behind that is very extracted fruit just waiting it's turn to be prominent. At 60% Nebbiolo, 20% Barbera, 10% Merlot and 10% C.S it is unbelievably dark for a Piemontese wine and the extraction could be from this country. Can't wait to see what these are like in five years or so. I predict …

Solid wine, well structured, will save last bottle for at least a year, maybe two

Opened up beautifully! Modest leather bouquet, but stunning finish- 30 seconds. Each glass improved dramatically- suggesting some more time is warranted.
