– 53% Zinfandel, 26% Petite Syrah, 21% Barbera – This unique blend is the flagship wine of Lone Madrone. Apparently wine club members flip over this stuff ... I found it good, but surprisingly middle-of-the-road for such an adventurous blend. The bouquet is complex, with darts of cherry, oak and cedar, but the spicy palate is too oaky.
