2+ years later, I would say that this bottle was a notch above the couple I had previously had. More integrated. Softer tannins. Fruit still going strong. Worth trying now if you've got some. Sorry to say this was my last bottle.

Best showing yet. Isn't that how it goes? Last of a cased a half. Well integrated. It went through a bit of a higher acid period shortly after purchase. Wish I'd laid off them back then a bit more, but it was my go to PN for a few years. Will have to search this out in more recent vintages.

This wine continues to show well of late. Lovely perfumed nose with soft ripe red fruits like raspberry. In the moth, good structure. Enough acidity to support the ripe dark red and blue fruit. I tend to not like like excessive acid. The fruit wasn't overly dominant either. Drinking wonderfully now. Down to a single bottle left of a case and a half.

This bottle is more similar to the way the wine was when I first tried it a year ago. Opulent once again.

This wine is hard for me to get a read on. The first half of the bottle consumed over an hour or so is captivating; rich, dark cherry, red raspberry and pomegranate fruit with a touch of spice and all well balanced with lovely mouthfeel and a long delicious finish. Around the one hour mark, maybe a bit longer, it all turns terribly acidic and is nowhere near as pleasant. So, drink up once you open this or give it …

Similar notes to the last TN, but this was a "bit" more open. There is still a tightness initially. Lighter red fruit flavors. Need to leave my last bottle alone for 2-3 years.

Tighter than initially, but still very nice. Good fruit, just higher toned. I'll give it a number of months before trying another.

A bit hot out of the gate for me so decanted for 1.5hrs. At that point my favorite part of the wine came out, the smell of warm blueberry pie! Amazing scent. After that was above average pinot I'd say. Ripe cherries w some cinnamon. Lighter mouthfeel.

Agree with the previous note, it is losing some of the sweeter cherry side. I am not sure if it is quieting down for a spell. I've changed my consumption of the remaining to within 12-31-13. It's a great wine; I am not sure it will get better.

Not quite as forward and opulent as previous bottles.

Had this with friends at an Oscar night party. Similar notes. Loved by all. This is an excellent wine.

This wine is even better than the last bottle that I had a couple of months ago. Had this in Riedel Burgundy Sommelier glasses and that didn't hurt! Dark coloration. Deep complex nose of dark cherries, some vanilla/oak and a hint of spice. Lovely nose and in the mouth the flavors were similar with a smoothness that was voluptuous. Last time I had this, I bought a half case. This time, I bought a case, and thought about buying two. …

This was a bit tight at first and towards the end of the bottle really came around. I didn't take any notes, but I was impressed with the tendency towards open, lush fruit and other complex notes in the last glass about 2-3 hours after opening. I'm going buy as I like this producer. This is my 3rd favorite bottling in this vintage behind the Saffron Fields and Fairsing, but it might shine above them on another day. I have …

A little tight at first, but this really opened up over several hours. Had this with a roast pork loin. Great match. Fruit driven. Sappy. Good structure without being blowsy. Might have to repurchase.

Bought this on the recommendation of the Prince of Pinot website. Red hue with clear rim; forest floor, red berries; Cherry all over, some stems maybe but could be wrong, acid to age, low tanin. This is an elegant, beautiful pinot drinking exceptionally well now with many years in front of it. One of the better pn I have had this year.
