Wanting white pepper, this provided a hint of it but a more balanced Shiraz in its place. Very nice food wine. Cheers.

Still young. Will smooth out with time. This wine is more mineral, less fruit in style. Not a "hot tub" wine. Needs food to balance it out... or rather the other way around. This wine will make the food the star, and appropriately play a supporting role. I had it with a sirloin from an animal who showed at our county fair and the steak was the star.
