Very good Cremant from just outside the Champagne zone from the very likeable Matthieu Daguin. You can pick this up quite cheaply if you buy a bit of it. At about $27 a bottle this offers a great deal of refinement.

Disgorged Sept 24 2024. Pinot Noir. 5 g dosage. Very well crafted Cremant. Needed a moment in the glass to calm the pretty exuberant frothy bubbles. Mineral. Bright. Fresh. Impressive intensity to the citrus and chalky flavors for a cremant - especially on the attack. Good persistence, marked by saline notes. Goes down easy. Super good value. Lovely.

A great value for sparkling wine - 100% pinot noir based. Lively acidity and crunchy red berries along with lemon zest & citrus. A good daily value if you like to have a glass of bubbles on a regular basis.
