Much more tame this time, robust and generous

Serious and hefty. A deep red/purple with real weight and viscosity - really hangs in the glass. The nose is full of mulberry, raspberry, and as it opens up more leather and dried herbs. The palate is full, with resolute acid and stiff cocoa powder tannins on the finish. As it is exposed to air it becomes noticeably more drying. But I was impressed with the range of aromatics. Probably better in a few years' time.

Deep coloured damson fruit. Good depth. Quite polished. Tannins still evident on finish. Good and better than last bottle

Deep coloured ripe mulberry fruit. Lot of depth some alcohol good structure. This is young and has room for improvement
