Cantine San Marzano Primitivo di Manduria Naca

Very pleasant primitivo. Soft nose, characteristic round dry body not too tannic, not too sweet; at 13% had a bit lighter consistency than other Primitivo. Medium finish. Some secondary flavors appear with time discretely which for me is an asset. No evident reductive elements. Try if you find.

[Tasted at Mövenpick] Very expressive nose of plum and cherry, almost liquor like. Palate of blueberry, very sweet, almost a dessert wine, but really classy. I still slightly prefer the Sessantanni when it comes to primitivo fruit bombs at that price, but this is a worthy opponent. 92-93
