Took an hour to warm up and open up to a full but linear , buttery chardonnay of moderate complexity and medium finish. Very good acid levels, medium yellow colour. Will go another 4-6 years easily. don't drink too cold or straight out of the bottle, almost a different wine on airing. Not a Vat 47 or Lake's Folly but only just a level down from that. Selectively, the Hunter CAN do good chardonnay.
