Nose of dark fruit, oak, and hints of spice. Earthy feel to it but no such notes I can distinguish. Palate has a front of oak, black cherry and fig, and a note chocolate. Mid palate has satiny tannins, with sour cherry dominating the flavors. Finish has more oak, baking cocoa on the edges, and some notes of and a hint of dried molasses.
