L'Ecole No. 41 Estate Ferguson Vineyard

90 minute decant. Deep ruby violet color. Dark fruit on the nose with coffee, spice and minerals. Full bodied palate has black cherry, dark chocolate, minerals and cedar. Tannins are resolved and smooth with a touch of acid leading into a long finish. Drinking well.

This is an exceptional wine that is always well received by our guests. Paired nicely with a bouillabaisse. Two hour decant. All things silky and elegant.

Opened three to four hours. Could have done with more Bramble acidity works well with taut tannins. Feels lighter than abv would suggest Revert in five years

Highly recommend opening bottle 4 hours before consuming. It opened up a lot and got much better! Chocolate taste. Smooth and velvety.

Drinking well; good dark color, big bouquet. Harmonious in the mouth now the tannin edge is slightly faded. Perfect for grilled steaks with some pepper seasoning. This may be improving for a few more years but is great now. Should have bought two cases.

This is just such a delight to drink. Deeply dark, huge nose. I never am any good at describing berries, asphalt, shoe leather, fence posts as others are so adept at. I just simply know if I like it or it sucks. So very good. More in the cellar! Heading to l'Ecole in 3 weeks for additional Walla Walla rations. Any suggestions from the masses on wineries to visit? That will let me in! Ha!

Dark inky purple in color. Very dense and dark. The nose is just incredible, a mix of chocolate, violets, and cassis. Good structure with a mix of dark fruits, oak and tannin. Velvet feel in the mouth with good complexity and a long smooth finish. Very well made and easy to drink.

Wine Warehouse Pre Event 2016 Spring Tastings, 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 6% Malbec, nice, rich, nose red fruit, cherry, plum, currants, and dusty earth, more of the same on the palate, terrific tasting today, long finish.

This really came alive over time. Popped and poured from the wine cellar so was a little cold at first; tastes were acidic and metallic. Over the next couple hours, this really came alive. Deep and rich, with Plum, coffee and spice.

Good depth to the nose, with inviting aromas of mint, dark chocolate, coffee grounds and a fresh floral characteristic. Fruit forward on the palate, with balanced flavors of ripe raspberry and redcurrant laced with a little spice and chalkiness, that dry out towards the finish, where red apple flavors emerge with a hint of ginger at the very end.
