Pleasure to come back to this mineral bubbly explosion after 5 years. Traditional method, disgorged in 2018, blend of PN, Zweigelt and St. Laurent. Medium copper colour, salmon hue. Medium+ intensity aroma of dried strawberries, hibiscus, peach skin, smoke, chalk, yeast and petrol hints. Medium body, so chalky and mineral its incredible, tasted blind and everyone went for Champagne. From start to finish its full of freshness with great concentration and yeasty peachy and red fruit hints, steely medium+ acidity.

A really pale, soft and subtle ros. There's a wonderful freshness of red berries, pomegranate and blood orange with a nice purity and acidity, although I am personally lacking some depth and power to really lift it to the next level. Dosage is a little too noticeable for my taste as well. For 29 it's a lovely bottle.

Wines of Germany and Austria - walkaround tasting (Flatiron - San Francisco) : very very pale salmon colour and somewhat frothy mousse. fresh nose of wild red berries with subtle floral and herbal accents that mingle with brioche. freshness carries onto the mouth, with the strawberry flavours dancing between a citric acidity, a pleasant yeasty roundness, and a soft chalky base. medium depth and medium plus length. 11.5% AbV; dosage likely in the mid- to upper-range for Brut; did not …

Tasted double blind. No detailed notes taken. This Champagne was one of the pleasant surprises of the tasting, showcasing substantial depth centered around a core of deep red fruit, with stunning purity. On the downside, the mousse is abundant but not particularly fine, and there is a lack of finesse. However, with a few more years to develop a rounder structure, this wine could have the potential to compete with many of the top ros Champagnes on the market. 92pts …

Decent rose Sekt from Blauburgunder/Zweigelt/St. Laurent, red fruits, rather low acidity. Ok, however keep in mind that at this price point one may get an entry level champagne as well

Disgorged June 2022. I couldn't agree more with Mark's description from 2/24/23: "red fruit and berry on the nose, some freshly whipped cream, fresh and phenolic, light herbaceous and with some bread crust. Very dry on the palate, with a fairly dark, mineral feel, very fine tannins. Rather subtle in acidity, but still very fresh and juicy. Very nice, full of soft foam, minimally coarse-grained perlage. Very good length goes on and has traction. Very nice aperitif sparkling wine."

PN, Zweigelt, 20% st Laurankt more of a richer style, med+ acidity, phenolics quite noticeable. Fruity, easy going but not that great. 10-11g/L. 15.5/20

Deg 08/21. While the nose is nice but a bit too shy, the palate is a feast of flavors with red fruits and blood oranges, pink grapefruit and rhubard. Very expressive and finely balanced with just enough acidity; quite long, salty finish as well. No question, this is the best rose sparkler I've ever had outside the Champagne, something everyone can enjoy but also has the substance to turn the head of wine freaks as well. 17/20

Very aromatic intense nose at first, creamed strawberries and blackberries, hazelnut, pastry, toffee, smoke!!! Palate has bracing acidity, juicy ruby red grapefruit, cranberry, less autolytic. Very aggressive mousse in the mouth.

Degorgiert: Juli 2014, states the back label of this half bottle. A pretty, pale salmon color. The nose offers a gentle, bright mix of strawberry, raspberry and peach, somewhat reminiscent of a Provence rosé. Later the fruit evolves to a more marmalade-like form, which I quite like, and some nice yeastiness also seems to emerge. Quite an elegant and delicious nose all the way. A mid-sized, creamy mousse eventually reveals a dry, slightly vinous mouthfeel. Not a big wine but …
