Cantine Carpentiere Nero di Troia Armentarío Riserva

Maybe my first Nero di Troia? Either way, a fabulous wine and very Italian with intense fruit, but also a big earthy component. I like this combination in Nebbiolo and I like it here. The acidity is low to medium, tannins are medium and integrated, fruit is ripe and dark but avoids cooked flavours. The refinement is lacking slightly, but nothing to complain.
