Gondi #2 A an authentic and traditionally styled Chianti that was less floral and slightly more vegative than the San Giuliano. Tart cherry and tobacco into distant mushroom, green peppery elements. Not an overly eventful wine mind you, medium to short finish, and needing only a 30 minute decant. Hint of grip, but again on the soft side. Could not taste the Merlot in this wine!
