Really impressed with this one. I grabbed a few bottles on Wine Text in 2019 for like $12. It was solid then, but as I'm drinking this last bottle I'm sad to say it's gotten even better in just 3 years. Surprisingly smooth, soft tannin, pretty low acid, nice fruit, hints of cherry and green apple. It smells like cherry, rose and maybe burnt wood.

Hawaiian Punch and wood on the nose. Medium to light body. Tannins medium. Acid pretty light. A little charcoal, low alcohol (13%), some green notes, almost stemmy, and a little dark fruit but not as much as red. Not bad at all for the price.

This one was from a different purchase and sees fine. Decent pasta wine. No notes but super-juicy. 87-88 points seems reasonable.

PnP and had with burgers. Rhudak review is spot on. I will say this, last glass was the best glass. I thought this was fairly full bodied and needed some air time. Dark brooding ripe fruit. Give it some air time. Would probably go really well with a steak.

Seems a bit off, like it has a secondary fermentation or something. Didn't score. Decant next time, but this is looking questionable.

I gave in and opened another bottle and it is still a great QPR, delivered w/insurance from WineText/WL for $13.35. Even with some 1800 btls in my cellar, I would buy more of this!

Still as nice as bottles on 1/4 and 1/6, this time without decanting OR a Vinturi. Surprisingly nice considering these conditions.Hopefully my remaining 8 btls will all be as enjoyable, with the first one an outlier because of the leaking cork/capsule. I will wait before opening more of these.

Same impressions as on 1/4/20, but just P&Ped through a Vinturi. A very good buy at $13.35 delivered from Wine Text/Wine Library. Bottle reviewed on 1/3/20 must have been an "off" bottle, probably the same as Grape Ape on 10/22/18. I will try another in a day or so.

Brought to blind tasting of Italian wines after decanting and returning to bottle 90 minutes before event. Nice fruit on the nose and a very pleasant/smooth mouthfeel upon tasting. Very surprising compared to the first bottle I opened yesterday. Very popular with other members of our Saturday wine group.

Disappointing, but bottle capsule was wet upon delivery with staining on the foam shipper insert. I am hoping that this is an off bottle so I am not rating this bottle and will rate subsequent ones upon opening them.

Pulled it out of the wine fridge. Drank this with a salty pepperoni wood fired pizza. It is wonderful. Cuts the salt well.

Big nose with a fair amount of complexity. Dark ripe fruit, some new leather and berries. The palate didn't quite live up to the promise of the nose, but it was decent nonetheless. Medium bodied with balanced tannin and acidity. I'm thinking Grape got an off bottle.
