Some funk on the finish blew off, but it never became as crisp and clean as the Ott sisters' top, pre-sale offerings; still, a thick mouthfeel with unexpected lightness makes for an intriguing wine -- somehow we managed to choke down the whole bottle

A lovely rosé. Dry and not overly fruity or floral, but it retained the acidity that so many rosés lack. This acidity and the associated finish brought this up the rankings of the rosés I have tried recently.

Much better than previous bottles; crisp clean and pleasant...perfect for current 104 temperature peak. Last two bottles must have been flawed compared to this one; the QPR takes a major hit if there is that much bottle variation

Popped and poured. Strawberry and lemon peel on the nose. Crisp, but not giving much fruit. Faint strawberry and unripe peach, nice acidity. Definitely a nice food wine, but perhaps a bit too austere for me.

Right between the white and red wines, as a good rose should be -- with your eyes closed and the wine served at 16C, you would have hard time telling. Off-dry, with strong soily-earthy tones.
