Better on day two...fuller, rounder, more expressive. Definitely worth the wait if you can be patient. Aromas of blackberry liqueur and smoke. Similar dark fruit flavors with oak and soft tannins. Midpalate is much fuller. Long and pleasant finish.

Needs some time to breathe, otherwise it comes across as a dumb, slightly over the hill fruit bomb. Pretty good nose, featuring blackberry with cedar accents. Big bodied with lots of good, layered black fruit and oak. Hot and slightly harsh finish. Hasn't aged quite as gracefully as the other Tamarack wines I've had, but still good nonetheless.
