Still good despite age. Tropical fruit nose. Oak. Nicely integrated on palate. Good acid.

A well made wine but not to my liking. Quite oaky with a buttery and vanilla dominating the fruit. The oak theme continues into the body but lacks fruits and acid to be of interest. Drink now or 2+ years.

Good stuff! Was expecting something rich and creamy, this was the total opposite. Chalky, lean, and pure. I'm suddenlly way more interested in drinking Australian Chardonnay.

Australia trip; 3/25/2017-4/10/2017 (Australia) : Drank over dinner in Margaret River. Pale yellow. White fruit, fine and non obtrusive oak and wood spices, citrus and flowers. Fine texture and good length. An excellent Chardonnay.

French oak of varying ages for winemaking Medium intensity aromatics of white fruit and mineral, touches of oak influence Nicely balanced, soft mouth feel, crisp acidity leading mineral, white berries and spice. Lemon peel on finish

What's up in the Yarra Tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : smoked bacon, slight butter, muted peach and some cedary & spicy French oak. In the mouth the wine is spiced with cream and bacon but lacks a little fruit. Hmm.

I really enjoyed this. Nutty, toasty with little fruit. I guess I like secondary characters more than your typical fruit bom. Great balance and still as good on day 2.

Peter Bourne GWT Tasitng Chardonnay (8 Danks street, Sydney) : Plentiful spice, toast, slight meaty notes and quite tangy (if one can smell tanginess that is) with almost spiced apple baked in butter. In the mouth there is an initial apple and spice note but this is then ruined by bitterness and astringency on the mid and back palate for me. Nah.

More oak than the 2010. Similarly soft and elegant.

Stinky nose (flinty/rubber) Big palate, not so nice, but improves on finish.

10x20 Victorian Tasting (Customs House, Sydney, Australia) : Citrus peel, stone fruit and some light spice notes. The palate shows good restraint and persistence. This was better than I expected and I think it will drink well over the next 4-5 years.

10x20 Years Victorian Tasting (Custom House, Circular Quay, Sydney) : Muted nose, oak, balanced and clean stone fruit notes, nice acid lick comes in towards the end of the long finish. Very pleasant indeed and quite subtle. Nicely structured.
