Inky magenta with a muted nose. Medium to full bodied, with lots of jammy blackberries, slightly burned cherry pie, pepper, fully integrated grainy tannins, and a medium-long sappy blue fruit finish. It seems like its past its peak, so drink up.

I'm not sure if this wine is just too young or just didn't have it all. In stark contrast to Tytanium which to me was a much more balanced and full bodied wine, this one is nothing similar. Medium + bodied wine on the pour and palate. The entry is nice. Good fruit that is certainly THERE, but seems to be a little bit of boysenberry and blackberry with a hint of new shoe leather. Agree that it is not a complex wine, but for a weeknight spur of the moment pull, it was very nice. Have a few more bottles so will wait to see if it changes in any way. It is still young.

This Sonoma red blend is a little bit like a Cote du Rhone on steroids. By California standards it is a little on the lean side, in a good way. Dark red to purple color. Briary, gamey nose with oak, alcohol and modest dark fruit. Medium plus bodied with a bit of sappy, evergreen influence to the briary dark fruit. Some oak, but not too much. Very spicy vegetal nose. Soft and round and fruity on the tongue, with a kind of zingy finish. Definitely tastes very young ... I'll probably try to hang on to my remaining bottles until at least next year.

Nice darker color, with sweet fruit on the nose. Very sweet fruit forward style, and enough complexity to make for a nice finish. A great wine to drink with a large group of diverse wine tastes, meaning even seldom wine drinkers will say "wow, that's good". Great QPR too.

This blend of 7 grapes (no Cab!) is the lightest of Ty Caton's reds, but packs a lot of complexity and texture with an ok finish. Just bottled so expect it to evolve unless serious decant now. I expect it to become smoother and a really good value.

A blend of 7 grapes, mostly zin & syrah. A nice blend fruit-wise. Not a lot of depth or complexity, but not too simple. It is pretty young. A little light/acidic. Not much of a deep/dark central core. More top-of-the-mouth sensations than center/back-of-the-tongue. I'll probably try to wait a couple months to try another bottle.
