A pale yellow in the glass, slight grapefruit whiff, but not much. Taste was full-on intense, pithy, grapefruit/citrus fruit, peel, good to cut through a creamy cheese sauce. Well structured. At 13.5% it’s obviously going to be quite punchy, but I just found it tasted really strong, which I didn’t like. I gave away my second bottle.

Bought 2019 online from The Wine Society UK for £9.50 popped and poured. Well chilled. Very good med-dry wine with plenty of personality and minerality/earthy character, drinking superbly at 3 yrs old. Sound value for money, worth every penny of £9.50, will buy again.
