Oenogenesis Deka X

On the nose, tomato paste, dried tomato, dried pepper, smoked meat, and mushroom. The nose is wonderfully developed and quite complex. On the palate, it has softened beautifully, with the tannins mellowed and an incredibly long finish. The finish features caramel and herbal notes. It’s a superbly developed, very enjoyable wine to drink.

Oinorama Wine Fair 2024; 3/2/2024-3/4/2024 (Zappeio) : Again (like Feggites red 2013 tasted before) showing evolution, dried red fruit, cherries and currants, some reduction here still, pot pouri, spicy with cinnamon and nutmeg Palate with more fruit, red fruit, maraschino cherries, med body, tight dry tannins, a lot of oak tannins drying the palate even more, long finish

Oinorama Wine Fair 2022; 3/12/2022-3/14/2022 (Zappeio) : The wine shows the same profile as the 2010 but without the leather and earth notes, spicy, licorice and coffee In the palate, the wine shows strength, again old notes, sweet spice, clove, cinnamon, tight tannins from the oak, juice fruit in the back, strange as it is nows, hugh oak impact, drying tannins (from the oak), overwelming, needs time, med to long finish
