Has an intoxicating perfume of rose petals, dried flowers, truffle and earth. It still has a core of vinous sweetness, coupled with all sorts of savoury nuance. There's some licorice, leather and teak. It is silky, full and long, still cut by bright acidity. Lovely wine.

13,5% alcohol. The color here is very odd, really youthful, translucent, blue-hued purple. This doesn't look like Nebbiolo at all, let alone one almost 40 years old. This looks like wine no older than 2 years. This drank great. I got that sea edge / algae thing I get from Barolo and Barbaresco. More feminine that a Barolo had the same night. Worked well with fish.
