Did not enjoy this at all. Too acidic and lacking fruit, even after a decent decant. Same as bottle tried 3 years ago.

A rich, dark wine, full of blackberry and blackcurrant fruit on the nose, with hints of vanilla, mocha, cinnamon bark and beginning to get some aged leather and black olive complexity. The palate was rich, strong still with plenty of time to mellow out. Plum fruit, textural and a nice long finish. Very nice.

Dark Purple colour but fading alittle. On the nose, Black fruits and very nice vanila nose, hint of coffee and dark chocolate. On the palate, full bodied and rich and with good acid backbone finishing with dry refreshing mouth feel. I really like this and probably first coonawarra wine I really enjoyed. I don't think it will last that long. Drink up and enjoy this great coonawarra shiraz.
