Exceptional. In a beautiful spot. Perfect balance of fruit and minerality. Nice depth and complexity.

Nose: game, earth, mung beans, cherry Notes: as most other 2017 wine this wine is quite ready despite its young age and is showing quite nicely now. Clearly not to be compared with the top range of Fourrier but the Sorbes is drinking quite nicely and the profile and complexity are both quite intriguing. I quite liked this wine. Another couple of years would probably enhance the palate but the nose is already fine. Drink: 2026+ Rating: 91

Very lovely wine with deliciously ripe spice-driven cherry fruit. A vibrant wine with good tension and grip. Ready to drink now but should continue to develop but with fruit like this, why wait? Served to us in the Domaine's cellar by Francois.

Beautiful pure aromatics matched by the silky palate and long finish. The vintage is forward and very drinkable now but of course will benefit from several more years in the cellar. Fourrier is just a great producer.

Mini Fourrier 2017 Tasting Exercise : Good nose with typical Gevrey fruit, wood and floral. This one offers more smooth experience and it shows some complexity although this is still very new wine. The decanting efforts show a good result. Medium / long finishing. Peak after 1.5 hours of drinking and keep the performance after.
