I was surprised that this was Pinot Noir dominant. Fresh nose on citrus, white lilies, mirabelles and very discrete spices. The mouthfeel is pleasant with a bright effervescence that goes to a creamier mid-palate with sharp Chardonnay citrus cut on the finish and some salinity. Quite good.

Very wine side, note of comté crust and blue cheese. Very impressing. Completely blow away by the complexity of aromas. Good length and acidity.

Pale to mid straw. Quite brisk and fresh, the creamy signs of development not yet really manifesting themselves. Some mid palate padding. Elegant and quite linear currently, this should round and add complexity as it ages. Leave two or three years. ***1/2
