pale colour - looks quite mature smells of resin, pine perhaps a little mint very light but not underripe, refreshing some tannin I think 11 was a terrible vintage in Australia and this is def. on the light side but enjoyable nonetheless.

Quite classic and semi serious. Robust red fruits, firm backbone that gets progressively drier. Low oak but some tannin. Just lacks some friendly fruit.

The wine is ruby red with medium and no sediment. It prime plum and black fruit aromas, hints of capsicum, undergrowth and dark cherry. palate has the fruit characteristics with some pepper, hints of French oak. The body is medium with a round texture some astringency suggesting it will age well. The wine finishes short.
