Fully mature Cabernet, deep purple with a ruby rim, nose of violets, florals, and black fruit. Tastes of blackberries, plums olives, and tar. Tannins have fully resolved Medium to full bodied. Good but not great. It seems to have lost its freshness. Although I don t think it’s “aver the hill”, I will drink my remaining bottles sooner than later!

The first day the wine was dominated by earthy notes. It drank a bit like a bordeaux. The second day the wine added cola and smoke. Very enjoyable.

Extremely reticent on the nose, a little alchohol and not much else. The palate, however, is fantastic. Some graphite, olives (in a cab? why not I guess), and cranberry. If the nose matched the palate it would be amazing, but as is still very tasty.
