💭 Easing into Monday with a 2019 vintage from New Zealand. Pale ruby. Not decanted. Opens up to cherry and cranberry, florals, supported by earthy and mushroom notes. Medium bodied and grippy tannins. Juicy acidity. Drinks well now. Well structured to hold for a few more years.

Medium ruby. Red/dark cherry, dry herbals and a little earth. Dense core with spices hints. Silky tannins, fresh acidity, Fruity sweetness in finish. A classic entry level central otago. Ap 5/5, Ar 12/15, Palate 16/20, Overall 2+2/10 Total 87/100

Big fan of this bargain priced wine. Nose of red fruits, especially Cherries, a little smoke. Palate has good depth, more cherries and red fruits. Again a little smokiness, great acidity and a nice finish. What a great value pinot only £12 @majesticwine and this is drinking superbly and I'm always topping up. Well worth seeking out to try and #giveanewwineago 86 points

{screwcap, 13.5%} Bright ruby/cherry colour. Bright cherry nose too, with spice, hint of oak. Youthful, obviously. Bit hard and strident too. That’s advance warning for the palate; light/medium weight, bright red, hard flavours, less oak than I expect. Medium acid, but short finish. Has a thin, commercial, but thoroughly competent air about it. A couple of years might soften it a bit, which won’t hurt. But nothing to seek out.

Some black cherry fruit with a little red fruits in the background along with some spicy oak. The palate was a little tight and the tannins need to soften a little bit, not surprising as it's quite young but there was some juicy fruit, nice acidity and the finish had a little depth. £12 @majesticwine a bargain. And if you bought now and resist for a year then this will become an outstanding bargain. I'm going to top up next …

Tasted at wine tasting. Smokey, tobacco, cherries and red raspberries on the nose. On the palate is tobacco and spice. Medium level of tannins. A one dimensional Pinot Noir.

Much more intense raspberry fruit on the nose. More berry on the palette with a touch of cracked pepper. Long, and slightly savoury.
