Nose is thin and hot with some brambly fruit. Palate is relatively viscous but with very little fruit, bitterness on the attack, unbalanced alcohol and short, slightly acrid bitter finish. Lots of tannin, medium acid but no fruit. Quite unpleasant. No obvious flaws, just seems like bad wine. No better on day 2. 14.5%, $18.
