Quite aged but still with good acidity and fruit left. However the foremost flavours are nutty and fatty. Drank it over 2 days and as many white Burgundys with age it improved with time and air. Drink now.

This had an unpleasant whiff of packed cardboard and old summerhouse in the nose. With time and in the mouth this went away. Hence this lower rating compared to the other ratings where the wines have been clean.

Still fresh, and not warm in its expression. I really liked this wine. Great nutty, almondy flavours. The fruit however, is gone, and the butter has taken over. Same story on the palate. Still very drinkable, but drink up within a year or two.

EWS California Chardonnay vs. White Burgundy (Warwick Hotel, NYC) : Tasted blind. Light weight and well rounded with lemon and mineral flavors. Possible palate fatigue, as I was the only person in the room who liked this. Some called it "still Champagne" and found it overly acidic.

Bacchus blindtasting (Finn's appartment) : Light straw yellow color. Sweet yellow fruit, mirabelle, and some oak on the nose. At first fragile on the palate, but gaining some weight over the midpalate to the finish. Feminin fruit, clear oak impressions, but the part need some time to come together better.
