More 2007 Spatlesen (Vin Vino, Palo Alto) : Deepest yellow of the group. Explosive, floral nose with honey and evergreen does not prepare you for a much deeper pitched wine that is dense, dry, alcoholic and altogether like an Alsatian Riesling. Big wine with a lot of glycerine, green and bitter on the finish.

More 2007 Rieslings (Vin Vino Wines, Palo Alto, California) : Light medium canary yellow color; Chenin Blanc-like focused white pepper, root vegetable, and grapefruit nose; very odd, concentrated, tart grapefruit, deep mineral palate with a cabbage note and high acidity; medium-plus finish
