Bodegas Alconde Navarra Viña Sardasol

Aromas of vanilla, peppermint and black licorice with a hint of green pepper. Dark full fruit flavors but the flavor falls away quickly.

Color is a light, but deep red-magenta. Nice bouquet of dried cranberries, Hi-C fruit punch and butterscotch. On the palate the cranberries are very prominent as well as to some degree red raspberries. Long finish with hints of green bell peppers and tart strawberries. Tannins are medium to light and very tight. Little hot on the finish which throws off the balance to some degree.
