The first bottle was dead without fruit due to mild cork taint, opened a second to see a lovely fresh floral wine with good balance and supple texture. Nice value. I mention the first bottle only because my experience says corked bottles run in pockets, this is a lovely wine that can be killed by just a touch of taint.

Toller Apero!

Piedmontese night at home. Pretty explosive notes of white blossoms/lime blossoms, citrus, ripe apple, some honey, minerals and a touch of mint. It's medium+ bodied with medium+ acidity and a fresh mouthfeel. Good length. While I'm usually not the biggest fan of Arneis (due to the relatively low acidity), it all works here. A very perfumed and balanced expression of this grape.

Refreshing aromas of white flowers, white peach, apricot and tropical fruits. Good palate weight with some nice warm feeling. More mineral at first but fruits gradually emerge and showing tropical fruits, ginger spice and floral. Mineral finish. I like the intense mouth-feel here, although acidity not high but enough to support and give freshness.
