Pretty much unchanged from 18 months ago when I noted, “Liquid sunshine in a glass! A beautiful golden straw invites the eye. Flavors of golden apple, bosc pear, vanilla and …. what? … cardamom lift from the palate. The abundant fruit and acidity suggest that they will carry the wine for quite some time, but the optimal drinking window may well be over the next three years.” It’s certainly a wonderful expression of Chardonnay right now. The abundant fruit and acidity suggest that they will carry the wine for quite some time, but the optimal drinking window may well be over the next three years. Some slight sediment. 13.5% alc. With leftover chicken stir-fry in peanut sauce; a good pairing. 04.03.22. Recommended.
