Lovely mid gold fading to watery clear at the rim. Very slight haze. Powerful nose, with heavy flor character, but there's also a very curious grapey note and some clear calvados aromas. Served blind, on the nose, I'd guess this was calvados or more likely Pommeau de Normande, as there's not quite same spiritiness as you'd get with calvados. Very unusual palate.
