Medium hay color. Nose ripe with perfume of honeysuckle and Meyer lemon. Medium to thick legs. Full, rounded mouthfeel. Notes of apricot, peach and dried tropical fruits. Lingering finish. Still drinking quite well. P.S. This bottle lacks the effervescence and has less of the minerality that we noted in our 7/7/17 review.

Medium pale yellow with touch of green. Jasmine and honeysuckle on nose. Medium legs. Rich and full. Notes of apricot, peach, honey, jasmine, pear and seedless green grapes with some sparkle on the tongue and an underlying minerality. Long finish. Drinking very well now and may still benefit from further aging. Would buy again.

Greenish pale straw. Honeysuckle nose. No legs. Well balanced full body. Notes of dried pear and apple. Slight effervescence on lingering finish.

A straw yellow color starting to turn a bit more golden. The nose was very reserved at first, then showed minerals, orange blossom, cinnamon, and peach. What a wonderful wine on the palate; excellent finesse with a rich texture. Very flavorful, exhibiting apricot, peach, minerals, and white flowers, with a touch of cinnamon or quince. Long on the finish, ending with a salty mineral note that really refreshed the palate.

Tiny hint of slate/petrol developing on the nose, lovely. Palate is also nice, good acid but also sweetish finish for a kab. Delicious.

petrol and sulphur nose that blows off. vey juicy ripe stone fruit and sweeter citrus profile. great acidity to keep it clean and fresh. not too much oiliness in mouthfeel. perfect wine for zesty dishes, salads, or pickled.

A little sweet and lush for a Kabinett; I guess that's 2005. A little frizzante initially, still with some nice minerality.

Flabby and weightless. A little bit of zest, light peach syrup, but not worth $20.

First day: opened and poured. Heavy yeasty aromas, and tastes almost like a light beer. Recorked and placed in fridge overnight. Second day: WOW what a difference. Aromas and flavors of mangoes and cooked peaches. The flavors are very intense, there is a definite sweetness but it is balanced by solid acidity. Occasionally will get whiffs of yeastiness but only passing hints. Wife enjoyed this a lot too.

Tasty, with nice acidity. Typical '05 in terms of concentration and lively fruit.

Nice bottle, a bit of sulfur and not terribly exuberant on the nose, but nice, ripe fruit flavors, with more tropical fruit, pear, along with the typical lemon-lime. Very good.

Consumed by my wife at dinner party. Had only a taste after opening and a small glass to finish it off so I don't have much in the way of notes. Remember the nose being non-existent, incredibly tight. Lucious and creamy with well-integrated acidity. Awesome fruit and minerality, but not the same as what you find in the Mosel. Definitely a nice buy at $17.99, but not sure I'm as high as WS on this one. Sanderson gave it a …

Really light watery pale yellow color. Tight nose but what is there is lemon, white flower, maybe a little peach. On the palate, off-dry, smooth and bright flavors of lemon, honey, white grapefruit, matched by bright, but not bracing acidity. Refreshing and light.
