This one’s all about stewed, sweet fruit—plums, strawberries, cherries—with a slightly smoky, overripe feel on the nose. The palate brings in a bit more interest, with some savory, herbal, and smoky notes that keep it from feeling too sweet. Overall, it’s simple, fruity, and very drinkable, though it lands somewhere in the middle—not bad, but not great either. Would probably taste better with a chill.
