Smells overripe with herb notes as well as pine and of musty laundry that had been forgotten about in the washing machine. Tastes like a thick, grainy glass of prune juice.

Nice, dark color not completely opaque though. Nose is of grass & currants. Very soft & smooth although a bit thin. Not much in the way of tannin. Very fruity with some black licorice. Perhaps a tad sweet. Finishes with a somewhat odd tartness. DAY 2: Just sour. Lowering score from 84 to 80
