Argentinian soda pop - but my wife really likes it. I suppose that means I am Buenos Aires-bound!

Tasting Argentinian Wines at WineStyles, Columbia, SC. (WineStyles Columbia, SC) : Another very serviceable Malbec from Argentina. Nothing special, but nothing flawed. Might be a touch heavier in mouth feel than usual. Fruit forward, but only to a point, not overpowering. Decent mid palate. Blueberry and blackberry, backed up with appropriate acid, and medium tannins. Not much oak influence. Nice job integrating the alcohol. Some of thosew non fruit flavor components on the finish, like leather and earth.

Had a BQQ with freinds. One of them loved it so we drank three bottles. These were a great value buy!

Very enjoyable. Tastes of cherry, berry, and oak with a decent finish. I didn't even notice the 14% alcohol until I was staring at an empty bottle. It went very well with a beef dish where spice notes were apparent. For the price, it's a steal. It'll be interesting to see what happens with a year or two of aging.

It is what it is. Dark, stainless steel fermented. Loads of dark fruit with plenty of black pepper on the end.

Pop and pour. Bright purple, semi-translucent appearance. Nose has sweet red fruits and some heat. Initially bitter. Finish fades quickly. The alcohol dominates. Either not ready to drink or something to never drink.
