Domaine Berthelemot Beaune Longbois

Delicious. Baked pear and brown spices like nutmeg and star anise. A touch of vanilla, but only in support of more interesting impressions. The fruit is ripe and plump, but enough acidity is there to keep it refreshing and table worthy. Fine length. No off switch here; no fatigue.

Lovely full bodied chardonnay with oak reasonably prominent. Quite complex and satisfying
