Palmeira Madeirense Evottas

Madeira Pilgrimage; 2/1/2016-2/4/2016 (Madeira) : Smells of sea salt, oyster shells and white pepper and a strange combination of creamy/oaky elements. Tart acid on the palate but creamy texture from the oak. I gotta say, the severe amount of oyster shell, sea brine and saline doesn't really jive with this toasted barrel and almond stuff going on.
