Viano Vineyards Sangiovese Riserva (Brunello Clone)

This 2017 wine is dark, brownish red. On the nose it reminds me of a wine cellar/wine barrel. Body is light to medium. Alcohol is a low 13%. It has subtle plum fruit flavor with some spice - maybe cloves. It has a pleasant finish that lingers for a bit. Overall it reminds me of an Italian Sangiovese but has a much better QPR. It was about US$18 from the tasting room in Martinez, CA. I plan to buy more.
